Lives Are Changing Because You Give!

What a blessing it is to receive the donations to Healing 4 All Nations Ministry. Thank you so much. It will truly help us to feed the Lemba tribe and others in Gutu, Zimbabwe in Southern Africa. We minister to and serve both the Gentiles and the Lemba Jews of Zimbabwe. DNA backs up their claim of being one of the lost tribes of Israel, descendants of Levi.

Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

We also drilled 2 deep wells. Now we can supply food for the people and clean drinking water. This is part of an overall health initiative of clean water, vitamins, health teachings and Medical care in the new medical clinic that you help provided with your generous donations.

Zimbabwe has a sub-tropical climate. The month with the lowest average high temperature is July (21.6°C). There are four distinct seasons. ... A cool dry winter season from May to August and a warm dry season from August to October.

The spiritual needs of the people are taken care of too. English, Shona and Ndebele are the most widely spoken languages in the country. Approximately 70% of the population is Shona speaking and speaks ChiShona as their first language. But the official language of Zimbabwe is English

The widows visit the clinic for the first time. Scales for weighing and dental chairs and equipment are there. Nights and mornings can be as cold as 5°C/41°F, but daytime temperatures are still pleasant and sunny.

This is the Medical Clinic your donations helped build. We have doctors, nurses, and dentists working here.

The country is suffering its worst hunger crisis in a decade, largely due to an ongoing drought that started in 2019 and the 2020 Corona Virus. We can hardly imagine watching as our widows bend over from hunger pains or worst yet, get sick due to malnutrition.

Isaiah 1:17 Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.

Because of your faithfulness, we will feed the people in Gutu, Zimbabwe. We pray that God who gives seed to the sower and bread for food will give you all the seed you need and make it grow so there will be a great harvest from your goodness. And your giving through us will cause many to give thanks to God. This service you do not only help the needs of God’s people, but it also brings many more thanks to God.

This young man works tirelessly to maintain the Empowering Widows Project. He purchases the food and distributes it to the widows.

James1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

There are 60 large cabbage heads, 20 x 5 Kgs of soya chunks that can be consumed on their own or mixed with any kind of vegetables. These are 80 Kgs of sugar, 80 liters of cooking oil, 80 kgs. laundry soap and 1 ton of maize meal for Sadza, which is their stable food. Soya chunks are textured vegetable protein and are used as a meat replacement. The food can feed 40 families with an average of 5 people each family for up to 2 months.

Sadza is our most common food here in Zimbabwe. It is also one of the first foods that babies are given, usually at 6 months (some do it even earlier). It can be accompanied with both meat stews or just vegetables. Traditionally, meat is not eaten daily. Therefore the accompanying of Sadza with a meat stew is considered a real treat. Traditional families might just serve sadza with one of the local vegetables.

Sadza is the Shona word to describe a thickened porridge prepared from any grain and therefore similar to the Ugali of Eastern Africa and Fufu of West Africa.  The most commonly used ingredient for sadza is white maize meal, but if not available you can also use any other farina or cornmeal. However, most Ethnic food stores (African, Asian, or the Caribbean) will sell white maize Mealie-Meal.

The coronavirus is exacerbating long-standing structural weaknesses in Zimbabwe's economy as well as sharply declining real wages amid soaring inflation. Inflation is running at more than 500% in July 2020.

We are grateful for your support. Thanks for being a friend to the Ministry and to the Jewish people in Zimbabwe. In Genesis 12:3 God said to Jewish Abraham, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will place a curse on those who harm you. And all the people on earth will be blessed through you.”

Food is usually distributed after Sabbath Service and for pickup to all others who come for food. All are welcome.

Another food distribution in July 2020. The month with the lowest average high temperature in July (21.6°C).

Deuteronomy 26:12 “When you have finished paying all the tithe of your increase in the third year, the year of tithing, then you shall give it to the Levite, to the stranger, to the orphan and to the widow, that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied.

The lady in the middle of the two Rabbi's is a centenarian and the great auntie of the tall young man on her left.

Two villages were fed. Gutu in Masvingo Province, a province in southeastern Zimbabwe and Chinyika. These widows are returning to Chinyika. They had a Bible Service with praise and worship. Then they were served lunch.

Clean water from two deep drilled wells. Good nutrition and clean water prevent many diseases.

LIVING WATER

John 4:14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst, but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”

We drilled 2 deep wells. This has helped to:

  • Decrease the incidence of water-borne diseases like typhoid, cholera, and dysentery.

  • Reduce mortality rates

  • Provides clean water for drinking, cooking, washing clothes, and handwashing.

  • Helps strengthen the immune system especially during the COVID-19 pandemic

  • Helps the people to have hope and know that they are loved
